In my work I primarily use ink and charcoal on cloth/paper, however, I also often create paintings using both acrylic and oil. The theme of freedom in my artwork is highly prevelant within the exploration of both landscape and figure; the contradiction and connection between the freedom of the wild world and the physical and pyschological restraints of the human body and mind interest me greatly. My work endeavoures to explore the incommunicable and often destructive realism that has led the world- and the people that inhabit it- into its current state of disinterest and disengagement.  From where I'm standing, there is only one question left.
